We read a lot of comics (probably too many), and at some point, we realized we needed a place to talk about them the way we actually think about them, not just whether they’re “good” or “bad,” but what they’re doing, what they’re trying, and why they stuck with us.

So this is what Comics Warlocks is here for.

We bounce between horror, fantasy, indie comics, and superhero comics, depending on what’s on the stack. Sometimes we’re writing reviews, sometimes reacting to comic news, and sometimes just talking through a haul, a new announcement, or a creative choice that caught our attention. We like digging into art, pacing, tone, and the weird little moments that make a comic memorable.

We’re not here to chase hype or rank releases (even though we follow those too). We’re here to talk about the stuff that makes us stop, reread a page, and go, “okay… that was something.”

If you’re the kind of reader who finishes a comic and immediately wants to talk about it, you’re in the right place.

You can also check out our comic reviews, comic news, and comic hauls over on Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, or Threads. Or, if you’d rather keep it old-school, feel free to reach out to us.
