Between horror, superheroes, and a few completely chaotic concepts, June’s lineup honestly looks like a lot of fun. Here are our top 12 picks for new comic series debuting in June 2026!

Absolute Catwoman – DC Comics
The story: Selina Kyle has become the world’s greatest thief, living far from Gotham with high-tech gear and unmatched skills. But when someone from her past resurfaces, Catwoman is pulled into a globe-spanning mystery that threatens the life she built.
Why we’re intrigued: We’ve been enjoying the Absolute Universe a lot so far, and Catwoman feels like a perfect character for this darker and more stylish approach.

Avengers: Armageddon – Marvel Comics
The story: Red Hulk’s destructive rampage pushes the Marvel Universe into chaos, forcing the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Wolverine and more to unite for a massive showdown that promises major consequences.
Why we’re intrigued: Big Marvel events can be hit or miss, but this one already feels huge in scale, and the FCBD preview definitely pulled us in.

Dispatched – Ignition Press
The story: An ex-black ops agent now working as a delivery driver gets trapped inside a corporate office siege and must survive using only his skills and the mysterious contents of the packages in his van.
Why we’re intrigued: What really makes this stand out for us is that “unboxing” angle. It sounds fun in a very chaotic way, turning every moment into a surprise and adding a layer of unpredictability to a story that should already be packed with tension. Read more about it here!

The Dogsitter – Ignition Press
The story: A veterinary student juggling work and dogsitting finds herself caught in a messy romantic situation after a casual summer fling starts complicating her already chaotic life.
Why we’re intrigued: After so many dark and intense reads, it feels refreshing to get something lighter, a summer rom com that still has personality and a bit of chaos. Read more about it here!

The Eye Collector – Image Comics
The story: After the Apollo 10 mission sparks renewed curiosity from an ancient spectral being watching Earth, strange events begin unfolding under the moonlight.
Why we’re intrigued: We’ve read the series published by Heavy Metal a few years ago and enjoyed it so we’ll be there for this one!

Junk Punch – Mad Cave Studios
The story: In a bizarre near-future world filled with strange compulsions, Clara Castanelle uses her uncontrollable urge to punch people in the junk while investigating a wave of surreal crimes and thefts.
Why we’re intrigued: This sounds completely ridiculous in the best possible way, and we love comics that fully embrace weird concepts like this.

Only The Savage Are Left – Dark Horse Comics
The story: A deadly virus transforms people into monsters, and the only cure requires killing another infected person. One young man leaves safety behind to search for the person he loves in this brutal world.
Why we’re intrigued: The moral dilemma at the center of this monster apocalypse sounds intense, and the emotional angle could make this hit even harder. Read more about it here!

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers – BOOM! Studios
The story: Ten years after retiring their morphers, the original Power Rangers reunite to face a terrifying new version of Rita Repulsa in this relaunch set for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Why we’re intrigued: We grew up loving Power Rangers, so seeing the original team return in a more mature relaunch instantly has our attention.

Spider-Man: Long Way Home – Marvel Comics
The story: Peter Parker, Frank Castle, and Bruce Banner collide in a gritty battle over a Cosmic Cube deep in South America in this darker Spider-Man story.
Why we’re intrigued: Jonathan Hickman writing Spider-Man already sounds exciting, but adding Punisher, Hulk, and a Cosmic Cube into the mix makes this feel even bigger.

Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man – Image Comics
The story: After surviving a horrific massacre, college student Adam Jaeger begins fearing that the monster responsible might actually be himself.
Why we’re intrigued: The Universal Monsters books have been so consistently good lately, and this one sounds like another perfect fit for this darker horror approach.

X-Men ’97: Season 2 – Marvel Comics
The story: Following the events of the hit animated revival, the X-Men are lost in time and struggling to survive in a world that still fears and hates mutants.
Why we’re intrigued: We loved both the first comic series and the animated show, so getting a direct bridge into season 2 makes this an instant read for us.

X-Men: Outback – Marvel Comics
The story: This series revisits the iconic era where the X-Men secretly operated from the Australian Outback while the world believed them dead.
Why we’re intrigued: We always love revisiting iconic X-Men eras, and the Outback period has such a cool atmosphere with a lineup of characters we really enjoy (and look at the main covers by Russell Dauterman!).

June 2026 is bringing a really fun mix of comics, and this lineup feels packed with books that could end up becoming some of our favorites of the year.
