Mad Cave Studios recently revealed It Killed Everyone But Me, a brand new horror comic series that feels tailor-made for fans of slashers, survivors, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. Written by Ryan Parrott (Dead DayPower Rangers) and drawn by Letizia Cadonici (House of SlaughterThe Neighbors), this one caught our eye right away.

In the summer of 1996, Sutton Reed survived what became known as the Riverton Massacre. Her friends were brutally murdered, and she was the only one left. Now, nearly thirty years later, the death of two teens brings the past back to life. Sutton, now a single mother, must confront the truth she tried to forget and face the horrors she thought were buried for good.

This feels like Scream energy in the best way. A final girl who won’t stay quiet, back in the spotlight with a killer that might be connected to her past. We’re huge fans of Ryan Parrott’s horror writing (Dead Day was such a strong book!) and we know he’s going to bring the same dark intensity here. And Letizia Cadonici is an amazing horror artist. Her pages in The Neighbors or Children of the Black Sun were so good, and from the preview pages we’ve seen so far, It Killed Everyone But Me looks ready to deliver something just as intense.

This series promises blood, trauma, mystery, and revenge, all wrapped in a sharp slasher twist. Honestly, we’re in. The first issue hits comic shops on September 10, 2025. Don’t wait too long to preorder, this one’s going to be killer.
