On March 5, 2025, Scarlet Witch ends its current run with issue #10… but this is not the end of her adventures! The Vision & the Scarlet Witch was recently announced by Marvel – out on May 21, 2025!

Marvel’s most iconic star-crossed lovers are back together! This May, The Vision & The Scarlet Witch, a five-issue limited series written by Steve Orlando with art by Lorenzo Tammetta and Jacopo Camagni, celebrates the 50th anniversary of their wedding with a new supernatural adventure.
In this story, mysterious doors are appearing worldwide, promising miracles and reunions with lost loved ones, but when Vision is gravely injured while investigating them, Wanda must push her powers to the limit to save him. Their love has survived tragedy, loss, and even death itself, but will it endure this latest trial?
We’ve been loving Steve Orlando’s Scarlet Witch run, his take on Wanda is refreshing and powerful, and both Lorenzo Tammetta’s and Jacopo Camagni’s art was a standout in the recent Scarlet Witch issues they worked in. So we know the Witch is in good hands once again!
Scarlet Witch has long been one of our favorite Marvel characters (we even reviewed her 2015-2017 solo series and it was the first post of this blog), and we’re always eager to see how writers explore her magic and relationships. WandaVision was a phenomenal experience for us, and any comic that delves into Wanda and Vision’s bond has our full attention.
On top of that, we actually own both The Vision & The Scarlet Witch series from the 1980s, so this anniversary feels extra special. And with Russell Dauterman providing another stunning cover for the first issue, alongside gorgeous variants by Stephanie Hans, Marguerite Sauvage, and Josemaria Casanovas (see below), this is a must-buy for us. We will very likely buy several covers for each of the five issues of this limited series.
Will this reunion be their greatest triumph or another heartbreaking chapter in their history? We’ll find out when The Vision & The Scarlet Witch #1 hits shelves on May 21, 2025!
