Odin is written by James Tynion IV and Marguerite Bennett, with art by Letizia Cadonici. James Tynion IV is a name we will always follow, we love Exquisite CorpsesSpectregraphSomething is Killing the ChildrenThe Deviant, and so much more. Marguerite Bennett is also a major name, with series like Animosity and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers that we really enjoyed. On art, Letizia Cadonici is someone we already love, her style is instantly recognizable from House of SlaughterThe Neighbors, and most recently It Killed Everyone But Me.

Odin follows a journalist who goes undercover with a group of extremists in Norway, chasing a story that quickly spirals into something far more disturbing. What starts as an investigation into a dangerous group turns into a descent into ancient forces, as something tied to Norse mythology begins to reveal itself in the frozen wilderness. The deeper they go, the clearer it becomes that they are completely out of their depth.

We are always going to be excited when James Tynion IV is attached to a horror project, but this one feels especially unique. The premise sounds unlike anything he has done so far, blending real world darkness with something ancient and mythological. It has that kind of setup where you really do not know what to expect, and that is exactly what makes it so appealing. This is also one of those projects where we already know and love everyone involved, which makes it even easier to get excited. Between a very intriguing story and a horror genre we always enjoy, this feels like a book we can jump into with a lot of confidence.

The first issue of Odin will be out on May 20, 2026, and this is easily one of the new series we are the most curious about right now.
