Exciting news for all fans of Christopher Chaos! Dark Horse Comics has announced that the series will return in June 2025 and will be titled The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos: Children of the Night.

Christopher Chaos is back! The series is returning this June with a new arc titled Children of the Night, and we are so ready for it. This series, with its perfect blend of horror, coming-of-age, and LGBTQ+ themes, has been a standout for us since the beginning, as you probably read from our full series review (you read it, right? RIGHT?).

The dream team—Tate Brombal, Isaac Goodhart, Miquel Muerto, Aditya Bidikar, and James Tynion IV—is back to continue Christopher’s journey. We couldn’t be happier to see them all return because their work on the original series was phenomenal.

In this arc, Christopher and his friends start a new school year and soon face a new monster in New Briar City. Adding to the chaos, there’s a mysterious hunter and new characters like Dr. Henry Jekyll (who’s bound to have an interesting twist in the Chaosverse) and a monster hunter named Helbound. We’re especially excited to see how these new additions shake up the story.

Even though it’s only four issues, we’re hopeful it’s just the first of many limited series. It’s also a perfect jumping-on point for new readers, which is always great for expanding the fandom. Also, can we talk about the covers? The main cover by Noah Dao is stunning, and the variants by Gabriel Hernández Walta, Michael Dialynas, and Sweeney Boo are just as beautiful. This series always delivers on the art front, and we can’t wait to spend our money on all these variants (we might even need two of the Dialynas variant, it’s too gorgeous).

You can start from there, but if you’re curious and would like to read the first series (as you should), Volume 1 is already out and Volume 2 will be released in June. We will probably read it all over again before June 18!
