Bug Wars – Image Comics
The story: Slade Slaymaker is thrust into a brutal war among tiny but deadly insect kingdoms after his father is killed by monstrous insects, setting him on a perilous journey in a world beyond imagination.
Why we’re intrigued: Dark fantasy with a unique premise, and the story sounds intense and full of danger.

Doom Academy – Marvel Comics
The story: In a world where Doctor Doom is Sorcerer Supreme, Strange Academy relocates to Latveria for a new semester, bringing fresh chaos and magical twists to the classroom.
Why we’re intrigued: We loved Strange Academy, and this taking place during the One World Under Doom event is sure to bring plenty of intrigue and fun.

Eddie Brock: Carnage – Marvel Comics
The story: Eddie Brock bonds with the deadly Carnage symbiote, leading to a terrifying new chapter as he navigates the darkest corners of the Marvel Universe.
Why we’re intrigued: Seeing Eddie Brock as Carnage after his Venom days is a wild shift, and we’re here for it!

Endeavour – DSTLRY
The story: A luxury tourism trip aboard a near-replica of the HMS Endeavour takes a dark turn when seven children are left stranded, fighting for survival at sea as they unravel the real threat: each other.
Why we’re intrigued: Written by Stephanie Phillips, whose work we’re big fans of, and described as a perfect fit for fans of Yellowjackets. Definitely intrigued!

Godzilla: Heist – IDW Publishing
The story: Jai, a young mastermind, exploits Godzilla’s attacks to stage high-profile heists, but his schemes put him in the crosshairs of dangerous men looking to recruit him for the ultimate job.
Why we’re intrigued: We’re suckers for Godzilla, and the heist element adds a whole new level of excitement!

The Hive – Image Comics
The story: Mason Shaw, an ordinary man, is pulled into a deadly game of survival when he crosses paths with a rogue group fighting against a powerful queen determined to control her hive.
Why we’re intrigued: The concept has a gritty, survivalist edge, and the cover of the first issue is absolutely intriguing.

Let This One Be a Devil – Dark Horse Comics
The story: In 1900s New Jersey, Henry Naughton’s investigation into the Jersey Devil legend leads him to uncover dark magic and a nightmarish predator stalking the Pine Barrens.
Why we’re intrigued: James Tynion IV’s involvement promises an eerie and gripping tale, plus we’re huge fans of the Jersey Devil mythos. We’re so excited about this one that we even made an article about it earlier this month!

The Loose End – Titan Comics
The story: Failed screenwriter Steven Hollis is thrust into the criminal underworld, tasked with killing a Hollywood exec to pay off his debts in a high-octane, action-packed ride.
Why we’re intrigued: The action, suspense, and mob involvement sound like an adrenaline rush!

Mine is a Long, Lonesome Grave – Oni Press
The story: Harley Creed returns to his cursed hometown to seek revenge on the person who hexed him, leading to a desperate fight against time and deadly magic.
Why we’re intrigued: The mix of revenge, magic, and murder sounds intense, and the covers are incredibly striking.

One World Under Doom – Marvel Comics
The story: Doctor Doom, now Sorcerer Supreme, declares himself Emperor of the World, forcing Earth’s heroes to band together and challenge his all-encompassing power.
Why we’re intrigued: Ryan North’s writing is a big draw, and this event sounds like it will shake the Marvel Universe to its core.

Through Red Windows – DSTLRY
The story: Athul Laal discovers the sinister secrets of Harlan Roderick’s towering Manhattan home, where ambition and terrifying monsters collide.
Why we’re intrigued: We’re big fans of Ram V, and this horror tale has all the right ingredients for a pulse-pounding read.

Zatanna – DC Comics
The story: Zatanna Zatara’s magical tour is interrupted when her stage crew is kidnapped by a ghostly foe, plunging her into a web of curses and dangerous tricks.
Why we’re intrigued: Zatanna is one of our favorite DC characters, and her return to the spotlight is always exciting!
