March is almost here! And once again, it brings a whole lot of new comics. This month leans hard into big concepts and high tension stories, from conspiracies and slashers to mutants, cosmic threats, and psychological horror. Let’s check out our top 12 picks for new series debuting in March!

51 – Mad Cave Studios
The story: After a party gone wrong at Hangar 51 leads to every classified object being stolen, a disgraced politician’s son and his coworkers must hunt down escaped aliens, experimental weapons, and other impossible threats while uncovering who orchestrated the break in.
Why we’re intrigued: Conspiracy chaos, rogue aliens, and a messy cleanup mission sounds like a wild and fun ride.

Alias: Red Band – Marvel Comics
The story: Jessica Jones investigates a brutal murder case in Hell’s Kitchen while navigating political pressure as Luke Cage’s wife and forming a dangerous alliance with Typhoid Mary.
Why we’re intrigued: We loved the previous Jessica Jones series and we cannot wait to read this one, and it is a Red Band which makes us even more curious.

Dead Teenagers – Oni Press
The story: Since the late 90s, a group of teens has been forced to relive prom night over and over, dying in new horrific ways each time. Now, something is finally about to break the cycle.
Why we’re intrigued: Prom themed horror is always a win for us, and the idea of being stuck in a perfect teenage moment that slowly turns into a nightmare feels both fun and deeply unsettling. Read more about it here!

The Exorcism at Buckingham Palace – IDW Publishing
The story: After a royal tragedy at sea sparks rumors of curses and possession, a troubled heir must face both the crown and his own demons as supernatural forces threaten England.
Why we’re intrigued: We loved The Exorcism at 1600 Penn so this one is an easy pick!

Exploit – Mad Cave Studios
The story: A journalism intern exposes a powerful tech billionaire and triggers violent fallout, forcing her and her allies to fight back against a system built to protect the ultra wealthy.
Why we’re intrigued: What really sold us is the tone. Exploit is described as having a pop punk energy with roots in 90s zine culture, which makes it feel rebellious, loud, and a little messy in a way we appreciate. Read more about it here!

Moonstar – Marvel Comics
The story: Dani Moonstar must track down a deadly soul stealing weapon while struggling with recent trauma and self doubt that could cost innocent lives.
Why we’re intrigued: We are excited for a Dani Moonstar series, especially written by Ashley Allen who has been amazing at writing Magik.

Narco – Image Comics
The story: A man with severe narcolepsy becomes the prime suspect in a murder and must leave his safe routine behind to track down the real killer.
Why we’re intrigued: The idea of chasing the truth while knowing your mind might shut down at the worst possible moment feels terrifying in a very grounded way. Read more about it here!

Nectar – Vault Comics
The story: A small island near Salem is overrun by strange butterflies that spread a deadly plague and feed on human blood, pushing the village toward madness.
Why we’re intrigued: The premise alone feels like the kind of horror that lingers and gets under your skin. Read more about it here!

The Other / Half – Ignition Press
The story: After a diamond protection job goes wrong, a married couple must step into each other’s worlds and use their combined skills to clear a name and solve the mystery.
Why we’re intrigued: A wholesome rom com mixed with a detective mystery and married couple dynamic sounds really charming and fun.

A Quiet Place: Storm Warning – IDW Publishing
The story: In a small Iowa river town that believes it is safe from the sound hunting creatures, a fire chief realizes the threat is coming and the community must prepare for survival.
Why we’re intrigued: Horror comics can build dread in such unique ways, and this concept feels like the perfect test; every turn of the page could make you want to hold your breath. Read more about it here!

Tigress Island – Image Comics
The story: Kidnapped actresses must survive and escape a brutal island prison run by a sadistic warden in an action heavy, exploitation inspired adventure.
Why we’re intrigued: It just sounds like a lot of fun!

X-Men United – Marvel Comics
The story: A new mutant school opens on Graymatter Lane, bringing together students and instructors from across the world as a new threat to mutantkind begins to rise.
Why we’re intrigued: A series that reopens the door to the X-Men’s school for mutantkind? Of course, we’re super excited to read it.
