Our Top 12 Picks for Comic Series Debuting in February 2026

February 2026 is shaping up to be another stacked month. This time around, we ended up with a really solid mix of publishers, genres, and tones, from big superhero relaunches to slashers, zombies, and gothic horror. It feels like one of those months where every kind of reader has at least one book calling their name – and we love that!

Archie x Army of Darkness – Dynamite
The story: Ash Williams finds himself in Riverdale, a place that briefly seems free of the endless evil chasing him. That peace does not last long once Archie accidentally unleashes the Deadites by reading from the Necronomicon. Ash and the teens of Riverdale must fight back before the town is completely overrun.
Why we’re intrigued: Totally the kind of fun (and unexpected) crossover we are living for.

Bleeding Hearts – Vertigo Comics
The story: Ten years after the zombies took over the world, they now have their own society and way of life. Poke is content with this existence until his heart suddenly starts beating again and humans begin to look less like food and more like friends.
Why we’re intrigued: The concept feels fresh, the creative team is strong, and the return of Vertigo already puts 2026 on a whole new level for horror comics. Read more about it here!

Disney Villains: Ursula – Dynamite
The story: Long before Ariel, Ursula ruled the oceans alongside the other Sea Witches. When one of her sisters is found stripped of her powers, Ursula sets out to uncover who dared to challenge their authority.
Why we’re intrigued: One of our favorite Disney villains having her own comic book series – we can’t wait!

The House of Lowther – AMP Comics
The story: Sawyer Ellis accepts a janitorial job at a massive gothic mansion and quickly realizes the House of Lowther is soaked in supernatural secrets and stuck in another time.
Why we’re intrigued: A haunted estate filled with secrets? Yes, please!

Just Brutal – Ignition Press
The story: Teen siblings Jordan and Winter discover their bickering parents are actually ancient barbarian warriors who have been hiding for thousands of years. With an old enemy returning, the family must face monsters, magic, and their own personal trauma all at once.
Why we’re intrigued: The story feels like a wild mix of unhinged family secrets and over the top action, which is clearly enough to make us curious.

Knight City – Dark Horse Comics
The story: A legendary hero lives two lives, a celebrated savior while awake and an ordinary man while asleep. As the pressure of both realities grows, his mental state begins to fracture.
Why we’re intrigued: A superhero story focused on exhaustion and psychological strain instead of constant battles feels refreshingly different. Read more about it here!

Magik and Colossus – Marvel Comics
The story: Illyana and Piotr Rasputin return to Russia only to find ancient folklore monsters preying on the innocent. Forced to work together, the siblings must confront magic, mutants, and their complicated family bond.
Why we’re intrigued: Mythology mixed with mutant powers feels like the perfect setup for a story full of emotion and spectacle (and you already know that, but we love Magik).

Maid Cafe – Keenspot
The story: A chainsaw wielding maid snaps and unleashes a violent uprising inside a shopping center. Soon, rival cafes join in as pastel outfits and brutal slasher chaos collide.
Why we’re intrigued: Keenspot has been delivering original and fun comics lately and this one instantly stood out as the one slasher title we needed in our lives. Read more about it here!

Marc Spector: Moon Knight – Marvel Comics
The story: Moon Knight has vanished, and whoever kidnapped him may have made a very big mistake.
Why we’re intrigued: A relaunch of a series we love, and it is still Jed MacKay writing so of course we are in.

Smile: For the Camera – IDW Publishing
The story: During Fashion Month 2005, five young models arrive in New York chasing success. As pressure mounts, one of them becomes haunted by a destructive entity that feeds on terror and hallucinations.
Why we’re intrigued: We absolutely love the original Smile movie. Exploring new corners of that universe instead of repeating the same story feels like the right move. Read more about it here!

Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant – Marvel Comics
The story: As a catastrophic cosmic threat looms, Ororo Munroe turns her focus back to Earth. Her journey takes her across cultures and conflicts, leading to a deeply personal turning point.
Why we’re intrigued: The previous run by Murewa Ayodele was fantastic, so seeing him return makes this an easy pick for us.

White Sky – Image Comics
The story: After the sky turns white and the world ends, Violet and her father leave hiding and head toward the ruins of San Francisco. In a world ruled by ghosts, survival is anything but guaranteed.
Why we’re intrigued: Apocalyptic settings always grab our attention and this one with a world ruled by ghosts felt like a perfect fit for us. Read more about it here!

This lineup feels like a reminder of why we love digging into new series every month. If even half of these deliver on their promise, February 2026 is going to be a very good time to be reading comics.
