Amp Comics has announced The House of Lowther, a new three issue supernatural series by writer and artist K. Lynn Smith, arriving in February 2026. All the issues will be double sized, which already makes it feel like a story ready to dive deep into its mysteries.

The series follows Sawyer Ellis, who accepts what she believes is a simple janitorial job inside a sprawling gothic mansion. Once she settles into her new position, she begins to notice that nothing in the House of Lowther behaves normally. The place looks frozen in time, and the deeper she goes, the more the supernatural seems woven into every corner. A haunted estate filled with secrets? Yes, please! This is exactly what we love, so this new series immediately grabbed our attention.

We are also excited because this comes from a creator we do not know yet. Discovering new voices in horror and fantasy is one of our favorite parts of following indie comics, and a project like this feels like the perfect place to jump in. A gothic mansion, a supernatural mystery, and double sized issues is a combination that sounds incredibly fun.
