‘White Sky’ Promises a Chilling New Kind of Apocalypse

White Sky is coming in February and I’ll tell you right now why we’re excited to read this new book.

White Sky #1
Publisher: Image Comics
Writer: William Harms
Artist: Jean Paul Mavinga

Release date: February 18, 2026

Apocalyptic settings always grab our attention and this one with a world ruled by ghosts felt like a perfect fit for us. There is not much information yet, but honestly this was enough. A haunted Earth, a white sky that ended everything, and survivors wandering through the ruins of San Francisco gave us exactly the kind of intrigue we love.

White Sky follows Violet and her father David as they leave their hiding place and travel through a landscape filled with dangerous spirits. The ghost-dominated world is a twist that feels both scary and beautiful (hopefully) and we are dying to know how this universe works and what caused the sky to turn white in the first place.

The series comes out on February 18, and it already stands out as one of the apocalyptic stories we need on our list. Sometimes all it takes is a single eerie hook and White Sky delivered that for us right away.
