Studios is releasing the new series on August 6, and based on the early preview pages, this already looks like one of the most emotionally charged and visually striking books of the year.

Melody Nelson and Jesse Harmon fell in love long ago in the quiet town of Perennial Harbor, but everything changed after Jesse left. In the years since, the town has become a strange prison frozen in time, hiding something dark beneath its surface. Now, reality is slipping. Melody is caught in a terrifying loop, moving backwards through time, her life unraveling with each passing day. Jesse knows she has to go back, but rescuing Melody may already be impossible…

There’s something about the setup that feels deeply personal and quietly devastating. It’s a time travel story, yes, but not the kind about machines and paradoxes, more like slipping into dreams you can’t wake up from. The emotional core here is all about relationships, memory, and the fear of losing someone before you get the chance to save them. That’s the kind of sci-fi we can’t resist.
