Marvel’s most lovable land shark is finally getting the spotlight he deserves! After stealing our hearts in It’s Jeff and making waves in Marvel Rivals, Jeff the Land Shark is headlining his first-ever solo print miniseries this June.

Written by Jeff’s co-creator Kelly Thompson and featuring artwork by Japanese artist Tokitokoro, Jeff the Land Shark will take us on an adventure-filled, five-issue journey across the Marvel Universe. And we are SO excited about it!

We love Jeff. Out of all of Marvel’s Infinity Comics, It’s Jeff is the one we never miss because it is always an absolute delight. Kelly Thompson has done an amazing job making Jeff’s antics both hilarious and heartwarming, and Gurihiru’s art in the digital series was perfect. We even had the chance to get a signed and remarqued copy of It’s Jeff (his first physical issue!) from them a couple of years ago, which was incredible. Now we are beyond excited to see another Japanese artist, Tokitokoro, bring Jeff to life in print. And as a bonus, Gurihiru is handling the main cover for issue #1, which makes total sense.

So what is in store for our favorite land shark? This time, Jeff’s got a shadowy problem on his hands (or, uh, fins). After an accident at the Sanctum Sanctorum, an out-of-control “Shadow Jeff” escapes, leaving Jeff scrambling to fix the mess. His adventure will take him all over the Marvel Universe, from The Savage Land to Madripoor, meeting new allies, outwitting rivals, and even unleashing some new abilities along the way.

We are thrilled to get five whole issues of Jeff chaos, but let’s be honest, if there’s one shark that deserves an ongoing series, it’s Jeff. Maybe if we all show up for this one, Marvel will finally give Jeff the long-running title he was born for – so you know what you have to do!
