Happy Valentine’s Day! If, like us, you prefer chills with your romance, Creepshow is back with a special Valentine’s Day one-shot: Creepshow in Love. This anthology delivers three stories of love gone horribly wrong…

Mirka Andolfo (Sweet Paprika, Red Sonja) kicks off the anthology with Madness of Two, a creepy, intense story about the Valentine’s Day Killer. It dives into the dark side of love and obsession and I loved both the story and the art. Short horror stories don’t always stick the landing, but this one definitely did!

Patrick Horvath (Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees, and the upcoming one-shot Free for All) brings us Cursed Casanova, a twisted take on the classic “love potion gone wrong” story. It’s about a desperate guy whose attempt to force love backfires in the worst way possible. I was happy to see something different from Patrick Horvath. I think everyone agrees that Beneath The Trees Where Nobody See was one of the best comics of 2024, and this story is just as gripping!

Yul-Pyeong Oh and Puré wrap things up with Penguin Avenger, a hilariously dark story about a first date on Valentine’s Day that takes a very… unexpected turn. What starts as a typical awkward date quickly spirals when the guy turns out to be a total psycho. The art is playful but still creepy, which fit the weird and wild tone of the story perfectly. The plot took me by surprise, and I really enjoyed how unpredictable (and fun?) it was!

The main cover is great, and you can also choose between two variant covers: cover B by Mirka Andolfo or cover C by Patrick Hovarth (but this one is a 1:10 incentive so it may be harder to get!).

We’ve always loved Creepshow, whether it’s the movies, TV series, or comics, and Creepshow in Love is another must-read. It’s rare for every story in a horror anthology to shine, but this Valentine’s Day special nailed it, delivering plenty of blood and guts to go around.
